Netherlands Announces €150 Million Industrial Electricity Support for 2027

On 3 November, the Dutch government announced an additional €150 million in support for industrial companies facing high electricity costs in 2027. The planned allocation rises to €345 million in 2028 and €495 million annually from 2029 through 2035. Beneficiary companies must invest at least half of the support in sustainability improvements. The policy creates opportunities in public funding advisory, industrial planning and energy-efficiency projects. HPC can support policy research, funding assessments and project evaluation.
