Mauritania Invests €21 Million in Civil Protection Capacity

On 2 November, Mauritania and France signed a €21 million loan agreement, approximately MRU 944 million, to strengthen Civil Protection services and improve emergency response capabilities. The programme creates potential demand for specialist training, emergency-response equipment, operational planning and workforce development.
